Therefore, balancing social commitments and self-care is the key to enjoyment without burning out.

Set Realistic Expectations

Getting restful sleep is often sacrificed when overwhelmed. However, lack of sleep can quickly lead to burnout, affecting mood, energy, and overall ability to cope with stress. Prioritize quality sleep by avoiding late-night holiday planning or socializing. A well-rested body and mind will help navigate the holiday season gracefully. 

Overall, holiday burnout is manageable by setting boundaries, practicing self-care, embracing the art of saying no, and getting restful sleep to create a holiday season that is both joyful and sustainable.
